R766s Cowan Bank Trials (July 2026)

On Wednesday the 15th and Thursday the 16th of July, Steam locomotive R766 conducted its last lot of trial runs before it can run on the Sydney Trains network as a lead locomotive which was loaded trials up Cowan Bank. She ended up conducting 4 separate trials before heading back to Sydney early Thursday morning. Diesel locomotive 42107 assisted the R class throughout the night.
