To mark the 76th anniversary of the Korean War, Morning Wave in Busan conducted a special interview with Dr. Jennie Jin, a forensic anthropologist at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) of the U.S. Department of Defense. In this interview, we explore the painstaking process of recovering and identifying the remains of service members missing in action during the Korean War, and the vital role that advanced forensic science plays in restoring their names and returning them to their families.
