A beautiful Zimbabwean funeral where I provided the funeral Live Streaming from the Church of the Holy Apostles in Pimlico, Westminster, central London — the service of Percy Bruno Gochera Murombe-Chivero, a much-loved gentleman whose family originally came from Zimbabwe. It was a deeply moving and joyful service. The coffin was carried into the church to African singing, and carried out again the same way at the end. Family and friends gathered in beautiful traditional dress of rich pinks and reds, and the service was filled with African music, hymns, songs, readings and heartfelt tributes throughout — a fitting farewell to a remarkable man. A funeral like this brings together loved ones from all over the world, and this is where live streaming matters most.
