VK-650V - new turboshaft heart
The VK-650V is a turboshaft aircraft engine created at the Klimov company. The engine has an optimally simple structure, created using the latest technologies, electronic design and 3D printing of components. Having a take-off thrust of up to 650 hp, the VK-650V is designed for use on Ansat, Ka-226 or other helicopters of a similar class. In addition to the base power plant, the VK-650V became the basis for a hybrid power plant, which includes a generator, batteries and electric motors. The new complex is used to study the prospects for using similar power plants on aircraft of the near future. Thank you for watching!
