Welcome to the barrier – and welcome to hell! 🦅 Let's get started with our Gothic Remake Let's Play on the absolutely merciless HARD difficulty level. Anyone familiar with Gothic knows: nothing is given to you for free. Playing the remake on Hard must be completely insane... or just plain crazy! We start right after dropping into the mining colony. After briefly familiarizing ourselves with the new controls, we thoroughly loot the exchange point. Every lump of ore and every herb counts! Then we head towards the Old Camp. At the locked mine, we stumble upon our very first weapon – and straight into the first enemies, who slam us into the ground. After what feels like countless deaths and pure despair at the hands of a single, cursed goblin, we have to admit: this tactic isn't working. We retreat a bit, find a better sword, and challenge the little beast to a rematch. Spoiler alert: He's down, we're standing! ⚔️💪 With chests puffed out but barely any health left, we continue on our way. Just before reaching the Old Camp, we encounter some hunters from the New Camp who give us a first taste of the colony's harsh politics. And that's where we cut for the first episode!
