LJ Reacts First Time: Bandidos do Cante - Rosa (Eurovision 2026) | Portugal 🇵🇹

Today we are heading to Portugal! Back in early March, the vocal quintet Bandidos do Cante won Festival da Canção 2026 with their song "Rosa", earning their ticket to Eurovision 2026 in Vienna. "Rosa" is a sweet, nostalgic lullaby reflecting on lost love through the metaphor of an overgrown rose garden. It features atmospheric acoustic instrumentation, strings, and a slow build to a gorgeous vocal crescendo. For me, this song is so different from what Eurovision has become lately, and it brings a real old-school charm. It actually gives me major Beatles vibes and reminds me of the classic Eurovision days! While it’s definitely not my usual style, I really appreciate that they are bringing this authentic, peaceful energy to the contest. Huge props to them for staying true to their roots.
