Flying Deep into the Mongolian Wilderness | Ulaanbaatar (UBN) to Khovd (HVD) on MIAT CRJ-700
In today’s video, we’ll fly from Ulaanbaatar to western Mongolia — to the city of Khovd — on a regional jet aircraft, the Bombardier CRJ700. While planning this trip, I accidentally mixed up the dates, and it turned out that after arriving early in the morning in Ulaanbaatar from Russia, I had to immediately continue onward to Khovd. Normally, I leave at least a full day to rest and explore a new city in more detail, but this time I had only about three hours in the hotel for everything. After getting a bit of rest, I headed back to the airport. I hope that the lack of sleep didn’t affect the video quality too much 🙂 Enjoy watching! Don’t forget to turn on subtitles! Filmed on iPhone and DJI Osmo Pocket 3. ✈️ Flight Information Aircraft: Bombardier CRJ700 (JU-1700) Airline: MIAT Regional Seat: 6A Departure Airport: Ulaanbaatar (UBN) Arrival Airport: Khovd (HVD) Flight Time: 2 hours Ticket Price: $270 / 20,700 RUB / 1385 BRL / 228 EUR 📍 Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:30 Hello from Ulaanbaatar 01:11 Hotel 02:11 Trip to the airport 02:45 Route 03:00 At Ulaanbaatar Airport 05:41 Boarding 07:36 On board 09:12 Taxi and takeoff 12:31 In-flight meal 13:11 Descent and landing 15:43 Khovd Airport 16:43 Trip to the hotel 17:22 Antonov An-2 18:17 Smog in the city 19:05 Hotel in Khovd 20:53 Lunch at the hotel 21:26 Thanks for watching! 📩 [email protected]
