I Made A Mech Shooter Game In 24 Hours

I challenged myself to make a complete game in just 24 hours using only free FAB assets. Every two weeks, FAB releases a new set of free assets, and my goal is to turn each drop into a fully playable game with no extra assets, and plenty of shortcuts. To make things even harder, I spin a wheel to randomly decide the genre before I start. For this challenge, the genre landed on a rail shooter, so I built a third-person mech game set in a graveyard. The player moves along a spline-based path, fights enemy mechs, collects ammo and health from destructible urns, to get a high score. All within a strict 24-hour time limit. This is part of my ongoing challenge to create 26 unique games in one year, each built under tight constraints to improve speed, problem solving, and game design skills. If you enjoy game dev challenges, Unreal Engine projects, or seeing how far you can push a limited time frame, consider subscribing, new challenges drop every two weeks.
