Making Tables
Tables! You'll definitely need them for your academic writing, especially if you are in the social or natural sciences. Creating tables in Markdown is straightforward, but can be a little daunting. In this tutorial, I show you how to make basic tables that will work in Github-flavored Markdown and MultiMarkdown. Then I'll discuss more advanced tables in Pandoc. Finally, I'll look at how you can use the app TableFlip to make table creation easier. You can find TableFlip at http://tableflipapp.com/. Another good tool is http://www.tablesgenerator.com/.
