Here's what I've been working on lately with the awesome pianist known as Pl511 by the masses! It's been a while since I've last collaborated with this talented guy, so as a result this remix was a lot of fun to work out. Here's his channel for other fantastically beautiful pieces by him for you guys to check out in case you haven't:    / pl511   We went in the house-genre direction with this one, and we proceeded to add a LOT of original sections/ideas in there thanks to that (the chord progression also had us having to add a lot of new interesting melody-lines and stuff). There were a few minor hiccups along the way but it was indeed a bit of a learning experience so I'd say it was worth it in the end. I think I'm personally pretty proud of the final product. I just wish I'd noticed that the video didn't render the audio visualization effect on my end before I'd uploaded it... ahh, just watch Pl511's version for that aspect I guess. The visualization is active in that one. xP The fight with the Bittercold was actually a little threatening during its first phase, but ultimately once I was able to attack it in its second phase it only took me like ~five turns with no real issues to beat it to a pulp. Regardless, its battle theme really had me invested as well as the circumstances the characters were in at that point, so it definitely wasn't a bad final boss fight... just, a little underwhelming. Oh well. When I want a depressingly challenging final boss fight I'll just go play through PMD 2 again hahaha. Aaaaaand it's reference time! I believe there are two scattered throughout in here--one from each of us, and both are from the Pokemon franchise. Happy reference hunting, and I hope everyone can enjoy the remix! :D
