attempting alternate picking on King Crimson Difficulty
Robert Fripp’s intro to King Crimson’s epic Larks Tongues’ in Aspic (part iii) As a life-long Crimson fan, I was incredibly inspired by seeing BEAT (Adrian Belew, Steve Vai, Tony Levin & Danny Carey) pay tribute to the Discipline era at a sold out Hammersmith Eventim Apollo this week. Transcribing and studying Robert Fripp’s complex & beautiful compositions is rather humbling, let alone trying to play any of it in one sitting! I used my beautiful Collings SoCo Deluxe into an AER Alpha amp.
