This has been a bucket-list item of mine ever since I first started researching about El Salvador. The image of the turquoise blue lagoon crater inside the volcano has left a lasting impression on me. But with missed opportunities of getting breakfast, and a lack of sleep, I was solely on adrenaline. I like hiking, so I'm not new to these situations, but it turned out to be a great challenge.
