Homemade Wood Burning Stove / Heater

In this video I make a wood burning stove / heater for my shop out of a 55 gallon drum and some scrap steel. After using this heater, I have learned that you definitely want to take it outside and build a fire in it to burn off all of the paint that is on it. It will smoke up your shop and choke you out! I thought it would just flake off but this thing was coated in some kind of epoxy that was horrible to breathe. You also need a fresh air vent down low to help feed the fire and help the draft. I have been using the door to feed air to the fire because I plan on building a much better one in the future.
