Twin tub wash test: full load, 2 rinses, spin = 120L 💦🧺

I finally tested how much water my twin tub washing machine uses for a complete load washing, rinsing twice, and spinning and it used 120 litres in total 😅💦 One thing I learned? With a twin tub, you can usually save either water or electricity… but not both at the same time. Since I’m in Nyandarua where water is fairly available, I’d rather save on electricity. Also, a small tip from my experience: 🧺 If your clothes are very dirty, don’t overload the machine give them enough space to wash properly. 🧺 If it’s mostly sweat or lightly worn clothes, you can load it to maximum and still get good results. Have you ever measured how much water your washing machine uses? 👀
