On July 1st, multiple Chinese online channels reported that South Korea’s exports in June surged 70.9% year-on-year to reach $102.25 billion, surpassing the $100 billion mark for the first time in history. They stated that with this achievement, South Korea became the fourth country in the world to reach $100 billion in monthly exports, following the United States, Germany, and China—a feat that even Japan has not yet accomplished. They also reported that the trade balance recorded its first monthly surplus of $36.15 billion, citing the shipbuilding sector as the biggest contributor to this success. Upon researching related content, a poster on one channel noted that while China secured orders for 24 LNG vessels, South Korea had secured a total of 35, already exceeding last year's annual performance. The poster further explained that the three major South Korean shipbuilders are maintaining their dominance in the large-scale LNG market through a selective order strategy centered on high-value-added vessels. ......
