Overlanding Leavitt Lake CA (395) Unexpected RAIN and HAIL - Offroading In Our Jeep Wranglers

This is our first time over-landing Leavitt Lake CA. Just 14 miles from route 395 and a 3 mile jeep trail to the lake, we were rewarded with some epic views and weather. Being this was my families first time adventuring and camping at the lake, we were in no short of any full time experience. From the fall leaves on the trees turning color, to a wind storm that quickly brought in some crazy dark clouds dumping rain and hail on us. Mother Earth gave us a trip that we will never forget.
