In this video, we walk through the second example from the WinderCAM library — calculating programs for reinforcing lattice (anisogrid) structures. You will learn: how a standard winding path calculation is performed; how to enable the "Net structure" option during the winding path correction stage; how the program generates the trajectory for the winding equipment links; how to export the final control program for a CNC winding machine. This example demonstrates that even complex lattice structures can be calculated within a unified technological process using a limited set of parameters. We pay special attention to the scientific foundation of the method. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valery Vitalievich Vasiliev developed the design-and-technology concept of lattice composite structures, which are now used in load-bearing platforms of spacecraft. His fundamental work "Mechanics of Composite Material Structures" (1988) laid the theoretical foundations for calculations. In 2023, a new monograph was published — "Composite Lattice Structures – Design, Calculation and Manufacturing", whose cover features a lattice structure for space technology.
