Took Me By Surprise - Cuphead Animatic

Inspiration:    • Ask Cagney Carnation - It Took Me By Surprise   This song has been stuck in my head for some while so I made a Cuphead animatic on it. The backstory might not be so clear in this so here goes nothin': Hilda Berg had once seen how powerful King Dice really was and invited him to join her team of good; saying that she knows how he's evil, but believes that with the powers of his, he can do so much good for Inkwell Isle. He doesn't take the invitation which greatly disappoints Hilda. She now saw how she really can't take him to the good side and decided to get rid of him. Out of fear, King Dice traps her in a high-tech security place so she can't escape. Hilda is able to break free and shows King Dice how angry she is. That's when King Dice had no choice, but to get rid of her with his extremely powerful cards. She tells him how she doesn't want to fight and to get closer to Hilda Berg, King Dice makes up a lie saying it was all the Devil's orders. That's when Hilda tries to persuade him to just join good and that fighting won't help with anything. After that, King Dice becomes her friend, or so she thought. 1 week later... King Dice tries to attack her behind her back, but she discovers how he'd been lying to her this whole time to get closer to her. That's when Hilda Berg fights King Dice once and for all and gets rid of him instead of him getting rid of her. --- Thank you for watching and also, this is my first ever edited animatic!
