Click here 👇🏽https://autosom.ead.eunaupmotors.com.... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since I was very young, I have always liked Pioneer car radios. Throughout my career as a car electrician and heavy-duty audio installer, I have installed many of them, more than I can count. Over the decades, I have noticed how some very good and beautiful devices have been left behind and lost space for newer ones with more connectivity features and music storage systems. A little saddened by the abandonment of these iconic devices, I decided to gather some that I had already saved and some more that I have bought recently and made a display to show them to my friends. I also occasionally show them on my channel where I post videos every week. The curiosity of the viewers shown in the comments of the videos then motivated me to talk a little more about them. When I started my collection, I left all the devices on a shelf in a closet, protected from dust and humidity, but it still wasn't good enough because I wanted people to see the devices and touch them and admire the beautiful designs and lighting system that had evolved over time, like a timeline from the late 1980s to the late 2000s. That's when I decided to make a display with all the devices connected and with an individual switch for each device so that I could only turn on the devices I wanted to see. The first thing I had to decide was the number of devices I would put on the display, because I had about 30 devices and some duplicates, but since I didn't want any gaps left over, I decided to make 24 positions for devices and whenever I find one that I would like to add, I remove one that is less important to me and that way I always have 24 devices on the display. I chose some older devices, such as a removable cassette player with a drawer and the oldest CD player I've ever seen, I believe it was the first model in Brazil. Then some relatively more common devices that were quite varied in terms of color, button shape and display background color. And a whole row of my favorites, the dolphins. These had this nickname because their display has a monocolor graphic sequence with some dolphins swimming and jumping in the water, giving the impression of being at the beach. This display was very important in the evolution of car radios because, in addition to being something fascinating and completely new at a time when cell phones had very low-resolution screens and DVD players were just gaining popularity in homes on tube TVs, it was the greatest entertainment possible provided by the car's dashboard. In addition to the dolphins, there are other animations called movies, such as Formula 1 cars, Big Foot cars and the most incredible of all, a basketball game. This is the only one that has a multicolor graphic display (unprecedented in today's devices). I have one of these too. Seeing all these devices together and being able to be appreciated by everyone who once had one of these in their car or even by someone younger who didn't live in that era but now can fully understand how each device works and its features. To power them, I used a 12v 20ah switched-mode power supply and connected all the negatives together. I passed the positive signal of each device through each switch duly installed next to each device, thus being able to activate them individually. I also installed 2 6x9 Selenium brand period speakers and left them connected to a device that has Bluetooth connectivity, so I can listen to music on my cell phone. This device came to Brazil around the year 2000 when cell phones didn't even have this technology yet and when they did, we didn't know how to use it, lol. I hope I've done something interesting for car audio enthusiasts, demonstrating the evolutionary line of such an important period in car audio. I'll stop here and wait for you with our next topic, thanks. I know what works in practice in a workshop and I will teach you in a simple and online way, from basic to advanced.
