I created this 5.1 mix from 24 (32Bit/96kHz) tracks. I've also created a Dolby TrueHD-Atmos mix of this song & included that on my Telegram page This and all the music on this channel are my own surround sound creations which I've mixed or remixed using either mastered or unmastered studio stems, or multi-tracks. I am not a professional audio engineer and since these are my unofficial mixes, they may sound very different from the official releases; whether this was my intention or not, my primary goal is to create enjoyable surround mixes. Jared (Methuselah's Grandpa) ==================== YouTube 5.1 streaming, audio quality and known volume issues You can NOT stream 5.1 YouTube videos on a computer, mobile phone or tablet using a web browser. Even though Google Chrome, Firefox or other browsers may support 5.1, YouTube has chosen to restrict surround sound audio to the app only. Use the YouTube app on a TV, AppleTV, ROKU, Firestick, PlayStation, X-Box, Nvidia Shield, etc.. to stream surround sound. YouTube does not stream surround sound as high-quality audio. I upload my mixes here in the best quality that I can; as lossless 5.1 flac, 7.1 DTS Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD Atmos. Most of my mixes have lossless sources and so the only lossy conversion is the one that happens when YouTube streams it as 5.1 AAC or 5.1 EAC3 (Dolby Digital+) at 384 kb/s. To my ears, 384 kb/s is just not enough, I can hear lossy artifacts and the loss of fidelity. Low Volume When Streaming 5.1 Audio YouTube handles the loudness of 5.1 audio drastically different than it does compared to stereo. I have tried everything I could to my own mixes to adhere to the specs but it nothing ever worked. They reduce all 5.1 audio so much that you need to turn up the volume louder than you normally would for stereo content but BE CAREFUL with the ads, they can switch your AVR to stereo temporarily and it can be MUCH louder than the 5.1 music. The track was produced by Quincy Jones and performed by members of Toto with Michael Jackson providing vocals. It was originally written by keyboardist Steve Porcaro, based on a conversation he had with his young daughter Heather after a boy hit her at school, Porcaro said "he probably likes you and it's human nature". Porcaro, along with some of his bandmates from the band Toto, had been assisting with the production of Thriller, but he had not intended for "Human Nature" to be used by Jackson. However, Thriller producer Quincy Jones inadvertently heard a demo version of the track and thought it would be a great fit for the album. Jones then brought in songwriter John Bettis to rewrite the verses, whose lyrics are about a passerby in New York City.] "Human Nature" was released as a single on July 3, 1983. Like the four Thriller singles before it, the song became a top 10 hit in the US, reaching number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached number two on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and is certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The first version of "Human Nature" was written and composed by Steve Porcaro of Toto. He recorded a rough demo of the song in their studio while the Toto song "Africa" was being mixed. Fellow Toto keyboardist David Paich added some synthesizer strings on top of the demo. Originally, the song was offered to Toto but they passed on it as they preferred stadium rock-oriented material. The song, as it turns out, did not change much musically from the demo through to the final album, as Jones liked the song as it was. It was, for the most part, recreated in the studio. Even engineer Bruce Swedien asked Porcaro, who played most of the parts and helped Jackson with the vocal phrasing, to help reproduce the phrasing of the accents of the "Why, why" that can be heard on the demo.
