The DK61 passes through the center of Legionowo, leaving no room for a bypass. The traffic forecast for the S50 showed that, thanks to the Serock-Radzymin connector, a significant portion of traffic from the north will "jump" via the S50 to the S8. This connector will therefore serve as a bypass for Legionowo and Modlińska Street in Warsaw. 4. The DK50 currently serves as a transit bypass for Warsaw and carries a huge amount of truck traffic, making it very dangerous and uncomfortable to travel on, and the passage through Grójec is heavily congested. 5. Overtaking is practically impossible on the DK50, and many sections of the road run through densely built-up areas or adjacent to them. The southern section of this road requires extensive expansion, but this expansion will not shift traffic away from the development and will require extensive demolition. It was determined that it would be better to build it on a new alignment. 6. The Wiskitki interchange on the A2 near Żyrardów is inefficient, with trucks queuing there in long lines. It needs to be expanded to a fully grade-separated solution. The situation is similar on the other side at the interchange near Mińsk Mazowiecki.
