In my last video about how to bleach and tone your hair, I received many questions about how long to leave the toner on your hair, what volume of developer to use, and in this video I answer your questions about how to get rid of yellow hair, how to tone your hair at home, what volume of developer to use for toning your hair, how to get ashy blonde hair and more! Your'e going to need Wella T18 Toner and Wella Colorcharm developer in 20 volume or 10 volume, depending on how ashy you want your hair to be. For the ratio of developer and toner, you should use 1 part toner, with two parts developer. You should leave the toner on your hair for between 5 and 30 minutes. If you are deciding to let your hair grow out grey, you can use this tutorial and leave the toner on for the maximum amount of time and have your grey roots match the rest of your hair after bleaching and lightening to desired lightness.
