1958, GOLD AND GOLD MINING, BAILEY FILMS, TRINITY COUNTY, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA MINING. This film depicts gold mining in the Klamath and Trinity Rivers in Northern California and hydraulic and dredge mining mining prior to the legislation that would eventually end all real mining in the state. The use of mercury in the process of gold collection as well as hydraulic mining and dredging are explained here in detail.
