About four thousand lavender bushes were grown in her grandfather's garden in the village of Rudivka, in the Chernihiv region, by Valentyna Bondarenko from Pryluky. The woman told the Suspilny: with the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she was forced to go abroad, where she lost sleep and felt a desire to return to her small homeland. That's how the woman had the idea to plant a lavender field near her grandfather's house. Over the course of three years, she arranged 60 acres of her backyard for these needs: she uprooted trees, leveled the territory with a grader, installed a fence, a swing, and a gazebo.
