Pt:4 I Finally Sealed the Giant Hole in My Boat

What started as a cheap auction boat from New South Wales has quickly turned into one of the biggest rebuild projects I've ever taken on. In this episode, I continue tearing into the old Marlin and start rebuilding the stern. The old sterndrive opening is finally sealed up, rotten sections are repaired, the port and starboard stringers are removed, and work begins on the brand-new transom. I also template and cut the new transom from 17mm marine ply, glass it up, and get everything prepared for installation. Every time I think I'm getting ahead on this project, I seem to uncover another problem... but for the first time, it feels like the boat is finally starting to go back together. If you haven't seen Parts 1, 2 and 3 yet, make sure you check them out first to see how this auction boat ended up in this condition. 👍 Like the video if you're enjoying the rebuild. 🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss Part 5. 💬 Drop a comment below and let me know what you'd do differently.
