This awesome band—led by Jolita Slušinskaitė (ex "Solidija", "Ūkana"), Henrikas Pesliakas (ex "Neklaužada") & Žilvinas Šakalinis (ex "Minika")—released their second album in 1997, recorded in September (yes, 27 years ago today), when they finally put a name to their musical project: Jumbo. Probably the reason why I love this album more than the others is because they made a more eurodancey style and has a really groovy rhythm, and also because on this album we'd finally get to hear Henrikas Pesliakas' beautiful voice! We know he's one of the best songwriters and musicians ever, but if that weren't enough, he's an awesome singer too! So, now that autumn is almost here, let's enjoy some autumn-themed pop dance songs! My favourite ones are definitely Mano svajonių laivas, Mūsų meilės ruduo, Nepamiršk, Garlaiviukas 2 and Už rožinės jūros, I really can't stop listening to them!!! There are so many reasons to love this band, and I wish it weren't so extremely underrated. Their music style resembles the numerous Balius albums released by various artists, one of them being Sandra Čiuladaitė, who sang on two Balius prie jūros albums and also collaborated with Henrikas Pesliakas in 1996 on the album Balius po eglutė. At the end of the day, everyone seems to be connected to everyone, and that's really awesome, if you ask me. Thanks a million, Jolita, Henrikas and Žilvinas, for this really great album! It's absolutely terrific.
