AE Radio RCA Weather Radar AVQ-10 Radio system tube based
This is the main controller and power supply for the aircraft weather radar read out screen i released a video about a few days ago : • AE Radio DC9 plane weather radar 1971 avio... The main part here consist of all the fancy parts needed to make the radar works, it is all tube based so it is a bit impressive. the only thing i see we are missing is the GHz head with down converter. This unit is rather large and 15 kg heavy, there are four modules you can easily pull out for service, a total of 35 tubes are used. a few parts missing and modifications / upgrades found.
