WW2 in Estonia - 1944

As part of the Second World war Estonia saw combat in 1944 between the Soviet Red Army and German Wehrmacht. This video explains the main events - the intense fighting on the Panther line around Narva, the battle of the Tannenberg line, the Tartu offensive and finally battles on the Estonian islands during the Moonsund operation. Data from the The National Archives of Estonia was used to create the map.
