Fodder School 5 Hop (Part 1) | 6 Months Mixed Media
In this video I’m sharing my Fodder School 5 artwork after 6 months of mixed media exploration, collage, and creative play. This is part of a special Fodder School 5 Hop where artists reveal their finished pieces. Over the past six months, I’ve been exploring a wide range of mixed media projects… from alcohol ink and gel plate printing to lace work, handmade elements, small canvases, and layered collage pieces. A months of Fodder Challenge and five projects later... here’s all of the mixed media collage art that I created in the first half of Fodder School 5, inspired by our incredible teachers: Arlyna Blanchard, Cheiron Brandon, Jane Chipp, Kate McCurrach, and Dori Patrick. While I can’t share the process itself (that belongs to the wonderful teachers), I wanted to share what emerged… how different materials came together… and what it felt like to stay with the creative process over time. If you enjoy mixed media art, collage, intuitive creating, and gentle creative exploration, I hope this video offers a little inspiration… or simply a quiet moment to take in what can unfold over six months of making. 👇 Want to see what other artists created?
