In this video, I explain why the narcissist quickly finds a new source of power, why they portray the relationship as a victory, and why what you see on social media often has nothing to do with true love, intimacy, or happiness. This video is about narcissistic power, love bombing, devaluation, rejection, hoovering, gaslighting, and emotional provocation after a toxic relationship ends. The narcissist may give the impression that they've moved on, that they're happy that the new person got something better from them than you did. But this is just another scene in the same cycle: idealization, manipulation, control, exploitation, and the slow destruction of the other person. If, after a breakup, you look at their photos, new relationships, hearts, declarations, and public displays of happiness, you might feel pain, jealousy, anger, a sense of rejection, or the question: why did they treat me this way and now give someone else what I never received or didn't receive? That's why it's worth watching this video until the end. The most important thing isn't who the narcissist has around them now. The most important thing is why they continue to try to access your emotions. In this video, I show why a new source of power doesn't mean the narcissist has healed, why their new relationship doesn't invalidate your experience, and why your self-worth doesn't depend on how quickly the narcissist replaced you with someone else. This isn't proof that there was anything wrong with you. It may be proof that you have stopped fulfilling the role the narcissist expected from you: admiration, attention, submission, silence, and acceptance of their illusions.
