Quick session on the float tube after work pays off, first large trout of the season!

#0 @Scottishflyfisher. Finished work at 5 and grabbed a quick dinner before heading to a local loch with my Guideline float tube . Conditions looked perfect, with a good ripple and having been a dry warm day, but I did not see any surface activity. Met a Gentleman ;) coming off the water who had been boat fishing, and reported 6? on a Kate Maclaren, but that conditions had been tricky. Had a couple of fish on wets on a sinking clear line, then changed tactics and targeted the margins. Once again, the Warrior fly did the business and a fish in the 3lb range sipped my fly just as it landed. FIsh was a little skinny tbh, but not a ferox , in a couple of months it would be heavier I'm sure,
