La Armada española, al frente de la Agrupación Naval Permanente de la OTAN en el Báltico
The two Spanish Navy warships have been patrolling the frigid waters of the Baltic Sea since January, leading the rotating mission of NATO's Standing Naval Group. The military exercises began to secure the airspace of Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia following the escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. A Telemadrid team spent 48 hours exclusively aboard one of the ships, the frigate Álvaro de Bazán, to experience the daily life of the Spanish military personnel on duty.
