Подкормка флоксов, когда и чем их удобряем или какие флоксы быстро разрастаются
Today's video is about phlox, which I love to talk about. And today, at the request of our subscribers, I'll talk about the fastest-growing phlox. I'll talk about the fastest-growing varieties at the end of the video, but first, I'd like to talk about phlox cultivation. I've already talked about phlox cultivation, but today I'll cover it quickly, as this is the most important aspect of phlox growing quickly. I'd like to share how my phlox grow, and based on this, you can understand how yours grow. After propagating by cutting, the following year I get one shoot. A year later, this shoot grows into 3-4 stems. A year later, there are about 10 stems, and so on, exponentially. I'd be interested to know how this works for you. Perhaps I think this is a normal growth rate for phlox, but you think it's slow. To grow phlox quickly, I use agricultural techniques. For example, when I prepare the soil for planting phlox, I dig a hole. Since my soil is light, I add humus or compost, ash, and general-purpose fertilizer. If I plant in the spring, I use spring fertilizer. If in the fall, I use fall fertilizer. I rarely add organic matter, or more precisely manure, because it makes phlox sick. So my main addition is compost, which I use made from rotted weeds. By planting phlox in this mixture, I believe the fertilizer will last for at least one year. After a year, you can begin fertilizing the phlox. For example, in the spring, you should water them with nitrogen fertilizer. This is usually done in May, when they've reached a height of 15-20 cm. The next time you can fertilize with nitrogen fertilizer is when they reach 50 cm, and when you see inflorescences beginning to form at the tips of the phlox, you can fertilize with a potassium fertilizer with micronutrients. And the most important fertilizer that will give the phlox the maximum benefit for the following year is a fall fertilizer with monopotassium phosphate. This is a very good and excellent fertilizer that stimulates the phlox roots to develop as many buds as possible, which will then sprout and bloom the following year. You can fertilize with monopotassium phosphate twice: once in August and again in early September; that should be sufficient. If you water and weed your phlox throughout the season, that is, monitor their condition, this will also have a positive effect on their growth. I've briefly outlined the essential agricultural practices for phlox. If you simply dug a hole without adding anything special, just planted phlox in it, and didn't water it all season, it's quite possible that only one or two stems will appear next year. But if you followed all the rules for feeding, watering, and caring for your phlox, you can expect it to produce a sufficient number of stems next year, which will delight you with their blooms. Someone might argue that phlox in our villages grow beautifully without any care. To this I can answer: Yes, they do grow, but if they were cared for, they would bloom much better, and in this respect, it would make a big difference. Now I'd like to list the phlox varieties that don't grow well, because I believe almost all phlox grow well, provided they're looked after and fertilized, watered, and fed regularly. Today I'll list the domestically bred varieties that, in my opinion, are the slowest growing and the least likely to grow. My number one choice is the phlox Maria Fedorovna. It's a very beautiful phlox, an old selection, with large crimson flowers and large inflorescences, but it dies unexpectedly, and not just in my garden. I've grown the phlox Maria Fedorovna three times, and all three times it ran away. It did the same thing to some friends of mine; it's a strange phlox that simply disappears. The next phlox on my list is the phlox Ogonyok Gaganova. Everyone knows our outstanding phlox breeder, Pavel Gaganov, who has created numerous beautiful phlox, such as Olenka, Sumrak, Uspekh, and others. But Gaganov's selection also includes the phlox Ogonyok, which everyone wants but is impossible to buy because it doesn't grow, and when propagated by cuttings, it doesn't take. Another beautiful phlox that doesn't grow well is the phlox Moya Lyubov, Moya Otrada, selected by Yuri Reprev. It looks very beautiful in the evening, but sometimes it doesn't grow well, sometimes it's sick, and you can't expect a beautiful, lush bush from it. Another phlox selected by Yuri Andreevich that doesn't grow well is the phlox Radomir, although I haven't noticed any significant sluggishness in it. You can choose and buy phlox from the best domestic and foreign breeders, as well as phlox of my own selection, with delivery by mail throughout Russia or with pickup in Moscow, in my online store: https://sadfloxov.ru/
