January 9, 2026 Flosstube #122 Starting our Blessing Samplers and introducing a Year of the BAPs!

Welcome to our channel! This week we each have one fully finished to share, and some finishes including one Stacy Nash animal cracker, Ginger. We each had one new start that was also a finish, December Pyramid by Faithwurks designs. Other new starts include Comfort and Joy by Hello from Liz Matthew’s as well as our January Blessing Samplers. Marlene is stitching a design by Scattered Seeds, Carlene’s design is by Violets and Verses. We did a lot of stitching during the College Football Bowl games. Some of the projects we worked on include Nativity by MarBek, Northpole Needleworks by Stitching with the Housewives, petite berries by Erica Michaels, TraLaLa Designs and Praiseworthy Stitches designs. For 12x 12 this year we selected our 12 largest WIPs for 2026 our year of the BAP(Big Awesome Project). In January we will be working on three of those designs, Nostalgia by rosewood Manor, Changing Seasons by Fox and Rabbit and Poison Garden by Chatelaine. Additional stitching progress was made on Celebration by Rosewood Manor and our Leap Year Projects. Marlene is working on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Samplings and Carlene is stitching Jenny Bean For the Parlor by Shakespeare’s Peddler. Marlene also worked on Joyeux Noel by Blackbird Designs and Snow Day by Shannon Christine. Carlene made a small amount of progress on Light of Winter by Brenda Grervais With Thy Needle and Thread.
