At first, I walked around the east side of the station, but there are not many things, so mainly I walked around the west side. Shimizu is well known as one of the cities in Japan where soccer is very popular. In fact, Shimizu owns a professional soccer team called Shimizu S-Pulse (清水エスパルス). Moreover, there are some statues for the symbol of soccer in front of the station which you can see it in this video. It’s about 20 minutes to walk. I enjoyed it a lot. Please check it out!
