Living in the Light of Eternity

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” (Revelation 22:12) The final chapter of Revelation closes with a powerful reminder from the Lord Jesus Christ. One day, every believer will stand before Him and give an account for the life they lived on earth. Salvation is the gift of God through faith in Christ, yet the Bible also teaches that believers are accountable for their actions, words, attitudes, and stewardship. Our daily choices matter in eternity. The life we live today is shaping eternal rewards and eternal responsibilities in God’s kingdom. Therefore, Scripture continually calls believers to walk in holiness, righteousness, sincerity, and faithfulness before the Lord.
