Salsa Beargrease Fat Bike Upgrades for the Trail Project Build. After spending five years considering what upgrades would best transform a fat bike into a trail bikes that could be ridden faster with greater control, comfort and simply make riding more enjoyable year round, an unexpected fat tire was the final catalyst to make us stop dreaming and start building. For this build we teamed up with Reser Bicycle Outfitters located in Newport Ky. Our Salsa Beargrease was updated with a pair of 45Nrth Vanhelga tires, Wren fat bike suspension fork,Box Component's Box Two one by drivetrain, Wolf Tooth chainring, PNW Coast suspension dropper seat post, PNW Loam 2 dropper lever and PNW Loam 2 Lever, PNW Loam XL Grips. We carried over a Renthal Apex stem, Renthal Fatbar Lite handlebars and Pedaling Innovations Catalyst pedals.
