Charlotte sings, “Where The Roses Never Fade”. *I do not own the rights to this music*

Charlotte sang this song to her Punkin’ (her great-nephew, Branden) when he was just a wee little lad. My mom and I both sang it to my son, Alex. While it may not be a lullaby, it is a beautiful song to sing to little ones. So it got me thinking…why? Why is it a good song to sing to babies….. When I think of this song, I think of God’s peace, promise, mercy, grace and most of all His love. Without God’s love there wouldn’t be peace, mercy or grace, and there certainly would be no promise. No promise of an eternal life in heaven. No promise of a new home free of suffering and pain. No promise of a land where roses never fade. What a truly sad thought!!! What a glorious song to sing to a little one. To share God’s love and promise. Teach them while they are young and innocent because if we don’t they will grow up being taught the ways of this world. And believe me, the ways of the world are far from God’s will or His ways. It’s beyond the world’s understanding or comprehension. Even as a Christian, I do not grasp the whole meaning, but I strive to understanding through prayer, reading, studying and reverence. We pray you get a blessing out of this beautiful song, “Where the Roses Never Fade”. We heard it a lot growing up and we couldn’t wait to share it with you all! 6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
