Ingredients: • 500g minced beef • 2 eggs • Spring onions • 1 onion • 2 cloves of garlic • 150g grated cheese • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs • Salt and black pepper • Olive oil • 200ml tomatoes in their own juice • 50g honey • Juice of half a lemon • Soy sauce • 1/2 tsp cinnamon • 1/2 tsp dried ginger For the mashed potatoes: • Potatoes • Salt • 150ml milk • Vegetable oil Preparation: Whisk eggs. Mix the ground beef with green onions, onion, garlic, cheese, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Knead everything well with your hands and form small meatballs. Boil the potatoes and prepare them for the puree. Fry the meatballs in olive oil until golden brown. For the sauce, mix tomatoes, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, pepper, cinnamon and ginger. Add garlic and simmer briefly. Add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat. Mash the potatoes with milk, vegetable oil and salt to a creamy puree. Serve and enjoy!
