Stromness Lifeboat Crew

On the 5th May Stromness Lifeboat Crew and the Stromness Ladies Lifeboat Guild celebrated the 200th Birthday of the RNLI with a mass band parade of Pipe Bands and Lifeboat Crews. On the day the Crew got up and sang a Sea Shanty song and sang to the public. We have made up a video of the day with past rescues the crew has been involved in, which is why it is important to keep fundraising for our crew and keep them safe as well as saving others. What you don’t see in the video is the crew pagers going off only about an hour after this magnificent event - which reminded us all why fundraising is so important.
