At the end of 2025, progress on the Besuki toll exit, part of the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road, was already well advanced. Phase 1 of the Probolinggo-Besuki Toll Road reached approximately 87% construction completion by October 2025. Fully operational in 2026 is planned, and the Gending-Kraksaan section was even opened for Eid al-Fitr and Christmas and New Year celebrations in 2025. The Paiton-Besuki Section 3 section was 81.01% progress as of October 2025, while the Kraksaan-Paiton section was 100% complete by June 2025, with land acquisition fully completed. Construction Progress Details and Target Status: Nearly complete, with full completion targeted for 2026. Part of the eastbound section is targeted for reopening in time for the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year holidays. The following sections are operational: Gending-Kraksaan Section 1 has reached 90.56% completion and is already operational; Kraksaan-Paiton Section 2 has reached 100% completion and was completed in June 2025; and Paiton-Besuki Section 3 is 81.01% complete as of October 2025. The Besuki Toll Road exit, which will eventually be the West Situbondo Exit, is in the final stages of completion, including land acquisition for an interchange. There are plans to change the name of the Toll Road to the Prosiwangi-Probolinggo-Situbondo-Banyuwangi Toll Road, so that the Besuki Exit will become the West Situbondo Exit.
