Driving the Mountain Kingdom: Lesotho Road Trip (Part I)

Welcome to the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. This small mountainous country is completely landlocked by the highlands of South Africa. The lowest point in the mountain kingdom is 4,500 feet above sea level. Although it is only a few hours from very modern Johannesburg, the kingdom takes you to an older Africa, before modern electricity and internet. Where shepherds still wander the hills for days, looking for greener pastures. Where there are more horses than cars. Where kids walk miles to school. And where a king still rules the land.
