The Third Avenue.El ran.in.Manhattan and The Bronx from 1886 to 1955 in Manhattan and till early 1973. It ran from South Ferry Manhattan to Wakefield 241 street in.The Bronx until 1938, then.ran between Chattem Square Manhattan to Gunhill.Road the Bronx. In 1955 the Manhattan portion was shut down then demolished. The Third Avenue Electric then ran in The Bronx only Between E 149 Street and 3 Avenue until 1973 ,then was demolished to be forgotten.
