Upload of a broadcast of the NPS programme ‘Het uur van de wolf’ about Edo de Waart, in which he talks candidly about his career, family, personal experiences, his relationship with orchestras (especially the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra) and the loneliness of a conductor. The film by Leon Giesen and Marcel Prins was broadcast in 2002. To be heard include music excerpts from Beethoven 5, Mahler 5, Bruckner 7, Rachmaninov 2, Verdi Fallstaff with Bryn Terfel, as well as ‘On a big mushroom’ performed by Edo, Rebecca and Olivia
