I made my first project with a cheap, crooked tool, and all I had at my disposal was a cheap Chinese router, a screwdriver, and a jigsaw. The main material was acacia. I love it for its bright color and pearlescent wood. For the first project, I used a homemade FMT tenon cutter, which I made by hand with a Chinese metal router.
