🚐 The Shipping Damage Was Worse Than We Thought

After our VW Crafter was damaged during shipping from New Zealand to Malaysia, we thought we understood the repairs that lay ahead. We didn't. As we started digging deeper, new problems emerged, unexpected decisions had to be made, and our plans for the next stage of our overland journey suddenly became much more complicated. In this episode, we continue the story of getting our home-on-wheels back on the road while navigating the realities of long-term overland travel. We're Megan and Darryl from The Peterson Odyssey, a New Zealand couple driving our self-converted campervan, It Zwibble, around the world. We left New Zealand in 2026 and are travelling overland through Asia, with plans to continue through Central Asia, Europe and beyond.
