The Great Loop Begins! Untie the lines and get underway!

Today is an exciting day for us!! The day has come for us to leave the dock and start our journey around The Great Loop!! This has been 4 years in the making and today is the day we officially get underway. We will be taking a 123 mile journey from Algonac Harbor Club (our home port) to Port Austin MI. This leg of the trip will take us approximately 10 hours to complete. Our family came by to see us off the dock and get underway. This is the start of a great adventure sure to be filled with surprises and excitement thanks for tuning in and sharing our journey with us!! We look forward to sharing all the aspects of our journey along the way. For those who have not seen our Introduction Video. Amicas Great Loop is the circumnavigation of the Eastern United States. Cruising the loop will take you around 6000 miles. The Trip for us will be around 8000 miles with our added side trips.
