Challenge 6, 1616m Climb on Zwift , The Sweet16 Summer Challenges (Oxford Children's Hospital)

Welcome to Challenge 6 of my 'Sweet16 Summer Challenges' fundraiser for Kamran's Ward and the Oxford Children's Hospital. In this challenge I attempt to climb 1616m on Zwift, which includes getting to the top of the legendary Mont Ventoux! Background to my fundraiser On September 17 2025 our teenage daughter Amelia was diagnosed with Leukaemia, a type of blood cancer. The amazing team at the John Radcliffe Children’s Hospital were by our side in those first moments and have continued to provide the most wonderful care for Amelia ever since. I really want to show my gratitude and help fundraise for Kamran’s Ward and the Oxfordshire Children’s Hospital Charity, so this summer I am going to complete a series of 16 challenging physical activities that I am calling ‘'The Sweet16 Summer Challenges'.
