First look at the Eno Guardian SL Bug Net | How well does it work hammock camping?

This video describes me first look at the Eno Guardian SL Bug Net. This is not a review of the Eno Guardian but simply a test run to see if it is going to meet my needs for this upcoming backpacking season. I already have a bug net that I take on hammock camping trips, and that is the Dutch Bottom Entry Bug Net. However, there were a couple of issues that I had with it, and I am hoping the Eno Guardian is going to resolve those issues. The main issue I have with the Dutch Bottom Entry Bug Net is that once it is setup over my hammock, I am not able to move it to one side when my hammock is fully setup without detaching and reattaching my hammock through the bottom of the bug net, which is a big hassle. Instead, I want to be able to setup my bug net over my hammock and then slide it to one end without having to detach and reattach my hammock. Well, the Eno Guardian allows me to do exactly that. The reason is because of its design. The Eno Guardian is a side entry bug net with a zipper. But the key to it for me is that one of the ends has a big hole that you can open up and slide over your hammock when it is fully setup. This allows me to setup my bug net over my hammock and then easily slide it to one end when it is not needed or not in use. And then if it is needed then I can easily close it up and cinch it down without having to detach and reattach my fully setup hammock. Plus, I like the side entry zipper which makes accessing things in my hammock a bit easier than the bottom entry. All in all, I think it is going to work really well this backpacking season. But I'm sure as I begin to use it more and more there are things I will have to tweak along the way. As of now, I think it is going to meet all my needs. Thanks for watching!
