Editors - Strange Intimacy live at Pinkpop 16th June 2023 (3FM Broadcast)

This is Strange Intimacy as played at Pinkpop 16th June 2023. Hannah and I collborated jointly on this collection, some of the clips came from her and some from me. You'll notice the difference, but trust me, the hoops we had to jump through to get this sorted were worth it in the end. Many thanks again to you, H. Strange Intimacy seems like such an odd way to start the show, instinct would suggest it's more suited to being a finale but I don't know if I agree. The refrain "The party is over and I know it" definitely has a tone of finality about it, and it's certainly an odd way to say "We're here and we're ready to play!"". Yet I don't think that signing off with the insistence that there was no more partying left to do is appropriate for a festival, especially if you're playing the opening night and the audience has two more days ahead of them. Plus, it wouldn't have been a fitting summary of everything that came before it, because Editors' set at Pinkpop 2023 didn't deserve to end on a downer. It was a celebration.
